Austin-Tatious!

I just arrived in Austin for this year's SXSW Interactive Festival ... If you're not one of my tech-nerd-friends readers of this blog (hi, Mom!) and don't already know: SXSW is "South by SouthWest", and what I'm attending is part of a greater Music/Film/Interactive thing that happens every year.

Maggie and her co-workers at her new job are here, promoting their new project (which I'm not going to blog about just yet, 'cause it's not fully launched, and because I'm saving the topic for another post, later) ... So I have a hotel room with her, and needed some time off pretty badly, and had never been (to SXSW, or to Austin at all), so here I am!

I'll be checking in on Foursquare, if you also happen to be down here, and want to hook up for some BBQ, beer, twangy-music, and internet technology talk.
