baseball in secondlife

As a technology test, our "new media lab" guys at work (MLB) are working with a company to use the the XML data we already are generating and slinging all around the datacenter, and use it with the Second Life API to drive events in a virtual baseball stadium. The first test will come next week when they re-create the All-Star Game Home Run Derby live for a small crowd of virtual people virtually sitting in a re-creation of Pittsburgh's stadium.

We've also got virtual giant foam fingers, which is the best part, really.
