I wish i could do more...

It occurs to me that due to work schedule (should the World Series go 7 games, baseball will end Oct. 31, with a new datacenter and possibly a team to move, not only from Montreal to some other city, but in cyberspace, within our system, and their offices, too, which I have a part in) that I'll not really have an opportunity to volunteer to help out in the 2004 Presidential Campaign, since Election Day is two days after that... A good friend is a key cog in the IT department at the KE2004 campaign, but they'll be in full-scramble mode by the time I sleep off my World-Series-is-Over hangover. (good thing the polls are across the street from my house)

New York isn't "in play", anyway, though... but I wish I could do something... I may write a letter "from new york" to the papers back home (Des Moines Register, Winterset Madisonian)... I want them to know that George isn't acting on my wishes "to protect me", or "to get even" for what happened in my new hometown a few years back...

I'm really kind of scared, today, in particular, that this asshole might win again.
