I call Bullshit!

There's a bar down on Hudson Street, near Canal called "Antarctica"... they do something pretty cool called "name night", where every night, some name is put on a sign behind the bar, and if it's your name, you drink free. (the idea being that you bring your friends in with you, or they bring you in with them, and watch you get crazy.)

We came from work at StarMedia one night (when the offices still existed, and were nearby) and brought in three "Adam"s... good times.

Anyway... I checked, and the other night was "Beth" night, and she missed it, but that's not such a big deal, 'cause it's frigging ALWAYS "Beth" night, or "Liz" night, or "Betsy" night, or "Lizzie, Betty, Elizabeth, Liza, or Aunt Bea" night over there.

I checked on the wonderful "WayBack Machine" over at web.archive.org, and they confirm it... in any of the months their robots have archived the site, they've NEVER had a "Ryan" night, and "Beth" and "Ray" have had no less than three apiece.

They're just afraid a robust Irish crowd'll show up on "Ryan" night and put 'em out of business.
