here lie the savage mouse slayers, napping after a successful hunt.


There`s construction going on above my apartment (which makes these cats go crazy with all the strange noises... they`re apparently installing a new hardwood floor up there at 8:00am every day) ... during contruction is the only time i ever have seen mice in my building in 8 years.


Anyway, twice now in the last two days, i`ve found a well-played-with dead mouse in amongst the multitude of toy mice these guys shred soon after receiving. They must be fed well enough, though, `cause they`ll eat up the toys to get the catnip within, but the real mice are just pounced and licked to death, but not actually consumed. They`re just left for me as a trophy.
