more drive-by blogging

So, my most current powerbook is still under warranty, and the titanium shell popped loose in the lower right corner, under the palmrest, so it's a little clicky and annoying, and since i paid a pile of bucks for the thing, i figured i'd take it up to TekServe and see if they'd fix it for free.

Last time i was here, they made me pay $1.12 for a little rubber foot that'd popped off.

Anyhoo, i'm sitting here waiting for my number to be called, so i turned on the 'book, and lo and behold, there's not one, but *two* networks available for glomming-onto here.

So this post is being made with semi-stolen internet access. woo! (actually, i'm pretty sure it's more of a communal free-for all kind of thing. Still, it'd be cool to have an apartment upstairs from such a nicely donated resource.)

Is it a bad sign when there doesn't seem to be anything in the Mac store that i really want that i don't already have? (aside from the polo field-sized flat panel monitors...)
