For anyone who's wondering, I'm still in Manhattan, and the power's still off downtown. I'm at a friend's house way uptown, who's got electricity, and internet access.

Ryan.net (this server, hosting my and many friends' websites) apparently came back online at about 10:30am... I got logged back online and started everything up about 3:45pm.

I don't have many pictures from last night, 'cause, duh, it was dark.... It was very very very strange, though.

More updates soon, I suppose (not soon enough)... I'm ok, and everything seems to be ok.

i'm now in the mlb.com offices, and we've just gotten our workstations online, so i can update this.
around 10:45pm, i called my home number and got my answering machine, so i can only assume that means my house has power, so i'll go home once i get the office in order. After that, i'll put my machines at home back online before showering (SWEET SWEET CLEANLINESS, OH HOW I"VE MISSED YOU!!!) and going to bed... that'll get my email and spam filtering flowing again. Looks from preliminary glances at the backed up mail queue that most of my coorespondants either are also impaired by the whole problem, don't care anything at all about me, or are interested in me buying large amounts of Herbal Viagra.
