It doesn't happen very often, but there's times when I can't use the little personal pulpit that my blog provides to comment about what I'm passionate about, and usually, that's 'cause it has to do with the business of baseball, 'cause I like my job, and baseball people know about my blog, and I really wanna keep my job.

That said, and knowing that I'm a pretty technical guy, I'd really like to join the debate about Questec... I'd especially like to respond to this essay by a copy editor at wired who is also a high-school umpire, and is therefore, all-knowing.
