Mike and Rachel got married... their wedding (and they) rocked. Here's Mike's wedding ring, and his tux, not quite hiding the ink.
The music as we were seated was very tasteful accoustic guitar. Among the songs were "Crazy Train (Osbourne/Rhoades)" and "We're Not Gonna Take It (Sister/Twisted)". Rachel walked down the aisle to "Home Sweet Home (Crue)". Husband and wife recessed out to "Vacation(Go-Go's)"
At the reception, their first dance: the full-on recorded version of Steve Perry and Journey's "Faithfully."
That's a very bold statement.
Kora was there, too.... good to see her, and all the other assembled brilliant folks that are the circle of friends the bride and groom had assembled. Additional goodness was the beautiful weather and the opportunity to drive around in it with Maggie in pretty Connecticut.
Good times, I tell ya. More photos here.
UPDATE:
How drunk was I? The first dance, as I have been corrected by the bride in the comments, was "Open Arms"... not "Faithfully". Also a good song. Fits better with the above photo, too...
1st dance was actually "Open Arms."
hee hee.
