iowa trip

So, I've not been blogging very much recently, since I've been working a lot, in preparation for a week of vacation, and now I'm actually on the vacation, and therefore either off the grid, or only on the grid via dialup (sometimes, even on the grid via cellphone dialup, which is 9600 baud. mlb.com does not look good at 9600 baud, I must say.)

I've been taking as many pictures as I can recently, in hopes of proving that Iowa does indeed host wild parties featuring hot tubs full of fat guys, in addition to having several other things worthy of photographing. Later in the week, I'm gonna try to make it to a Hot-Air Balloon Flying Championship (tell me that's not photo-worthy), the Iowa State Fair (close-ups of pigs, cows, sheep, and funnel-cake vendors. Also photo-worthy.), and the Bob Feller Museum, which it turns out is right down the road from my hometown, in Van Meter, Iowa. Maybe Bob'll be around, and we'll have a perfect game of catch, or something.

(there's a joke up there, right at the end. It was subtle. If you missed it, don't worry about it. )

Photos to come.

That sounds like a lot of activities. You should rest more. You should be relaxed enough to make people think "does he have no bones?" Like that.
