cool benefit of being a home-owner, is I finally get to put up yard signs and stuff. Makes me feel super-grown up.

However, yard signs are pretty much considered by political scientists to not have much of an effect, and cost campaigns money that'd be better spent elsewhere, so they're not just giving them out this year, especially in uncontested New York.

In addition, apparently yard-sign stealing is high sport this year. So I went to blockposters.com and printed up a big-ol' sign for the picture window, and spent my Saturday coffee-time taping it together and hanging it.
