The kids over at Cartoon Network put up an apology on their Adult Swim page, saying, in part, "We apologize to the citizens of Boston that part of a marketing campaign was mistaken for a public danger."

They should've said "dear Boston authorities: you're 'friggin wicked retarded'. We're not sure how you survived the holiday season being terrified of anything featuing a blinking light. But no hard feelings, we'll knock off trying to advertise to you and just keep making our cartoons, and you can get back to burning witches and pronouncing 'car' incorrectly."
